Basic Beauty Tips
# Wash your face at least twice a day and not more than thrice with a cleanser that suits your skin. Select your cleanser depending upon your skin type (dry, oily, normal or combination). You can also choose aloe-vera for cleansing along with basic beauty tips here.
# Hydrate yourself. Drink lots of water daily, at least 8 glasses if not more. Also, eats fruits and vegetables that have a high water content such as watermelon, cucumber, orange, strawberry etc.
# Sunscreen is probably the most essential component of one's skincare regimen. Wrinkles, which are the number one sign of aging, are triggered by sun exposure. So it is essential to make use of sunscreen from your early years.
# Eat fresh fruits, greens, sufficient protein and vitamins. A diet rich in vitamin C and low in fats and sugar promotes radiant skin.
# Try to sleep at least 8 hours every night. A well-disciplined routine and at least seven to eight hours of sleep every night are important for good skin.
# Scrub the whole body with some natural scrubber or a mixture of sugar and honey, it works real well. Grind sugar and massage till it dissolves. Everyday exfoliation doesn’t need to be vigorous or for lengthy time period. 3-5 minutes is good enough.
# As it is important to maintain the skin's moisture content, you should use a moisturiser daily. Even more special care should be taken in winters, as the skin tends to become dry fast because of the cold. So in winter, you should massage your body twice or thrice a day with moisturiser.
# Take out time for yourself, and try to avoid stress as much as possible as stress causes your body to produce cortisol and other hormones, making the skin more oily. Practice stress management techniques like breathing exercises, yoga and meditation. The more you meditate, the more you radiate one of important basic beauty tips.
# Make sure you always remove your makeup before going for sleep. The skin needs to breathe overnight. And makeup prevents that, as leaving it on overnight clogs the pores which may cause blemishes and/or blackheads. Just put some olive oil on a cotton pad and gently massage the oil onto your face to get rid of the makeup and dirt.
